1st entry Photoblog assign Monday (July): Death of SeaWorld

The recent oil spill which happened at the Gulf of Mexico was devastating that the world watched how it killed vast sea life creatures. Ive chosen this photo among hundreds of photos posted because I felt this best describes the outcome of Sea world. The oil spill was said to be the biggest ecological disaster in our time that it created 7 long term effects that we will continue to suffer in the next 20 years. These effects include environmental damage, an entire generation of marine life is at stake, Human life where countless of people are at risk at this oil spill, seafood industry just like the picture above... It symbolizes the death of many activities, life and businesses connected to its recent disaster. the element used in this picture is the depth of field, it gave an impact on this picture by isolating the subject from its background and foreground.
